AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 for Linux

Ok first of all, no it is not needed for Linux, but if you would like to scan any Windows systems, shared files or drives, then this will work for you.

Donwload avg *.deb file from here:
http://www.avg.com/filedir/inst/avg75fld-r51-a1243.i386.deb

install
sudo dpkg -i avg75fld-r51-a1243.i386.deb

after install
sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/avggui.desktop
or sudo vi /usr/share/applications/avggui.desktop

save and exit.

You can now start AVG by going to Applications tab ---> System Tools.

and run update.
